Instructions For Filling Online Application

  • Log on to https://apply.gitam.edu to access the applicants' portal.
  • Click on the "Register" button and it will open the registration page. On this page, applicant need to fill in the basic personal information, as well as any other details that are required.
  • Fields marked with an asterisk “*” are mandatory and must be filled by the applicant.
  • There are clear instructions for each field, so please read them carefully before filling out the form.

Applicant Current Education details

This section asks for applicant current education details, including the current field of study, the name of your school, the subjects he/ she is studying, the campus interested in, the year of completion of graduation / +2, the list of eligible disciplines, and eligible programs.

After entering the details, click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page. Then click the "Next" button to proceed to the next page and move on to course selection section.

Course Selection details

This section displays the eligible courses based on the group selected by the applicant in their current education section. On this page, applicant need to select the courses he / she interested in. After selection, the system will display the eligibility criteria for the chosen course and the applicant will need to click "Add Course" to apply.

In a tabular format, there will be a display of the "Application no", "Course Name", "Amount", "Application Status", and "Delete" option for each course applied for.

Applicant should review the details entered on the page before clicking "Save and Next" to proceed to the next page, wherein applicant will enter their Personal details.

Applicant can click "Previous" button at any time to go back and make changes if any.

Personal details:

This section requires applicants to fill in their personal details, including:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Gender
  • Date of birth
  • Aadhar no.
  • Mother tongue
  • Category
  • Nationality
  • Country of permanent residence

Additionally, applicants must upload a passport-size photograph that meets the below requirements:

  • Formal passport size
  • JPEG/JPG format
  • Dimensions not larger than 35 mm X 45 mm
  • File size not larger than 1 MB

Please review the information entered on the page before clicking "Save and Next" to proceed to the next page wherein Communication details needs to be entered.

Applicant can click "Previous" button at any time to go back and make changes if any.

Communication details:

Here, in this section prompts applicants to fill in their communication/parent details.

Please review the information entered on the page before clicking "Save and Next" to proceed to the next page wherein applicant will enter their test center details.

Applicant can click "Previous" button at any time to go back and make changes if any.

Centre details:

In this section applicant need to select their preferred test centre for centre-based examination.

Please review the information entered on the previous page before clicking "Save and Next" to proceed to the next page wherein applicant will have to choose their preferred test centre.

Applicant can click "Previous" button at any time to go back and make changes if any.

Sports details:

Applicant need to enter accomplishments in sports, if any.

Please review the information entered on the page before clicking "Save and Next" to proceed to the next page wherein applicant need to review the information filled and proceed for payment.

Review Your Information and Pay the Application Fee:

This section will allow the applicant to review the information provided on the previous pages. Applicant should proceed for payment of the non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1,200/-.

Applicant can click "Previous" button before making payment to make changes if any.

Once the payment is successful, applicant will be redirected to an “Application Print” page where a print copy of the application form is available for download / print for the record. If the payment is unsuccessful, you will be redirected to a “Payment Fail” page where you can retry payment.
